Loosing a Job

Losing a job can be an extremely bad experience. But at present, with the changing landscape in the workforce, the shame of unemployment should be a thing of the past.

In the old days, unemployment was equated with failure and blame fell squarely on the individual who couldn't hold a job. Today, with organizaitons in constant transition, most people have had either a direct or indirect experience of seeing someone leave their job without another to go to. In fact, most the professionals who reached out about their unemployment experiences agreed to do so only on condition of anonymity, indicating that we haven't come that far.

Many human resources professionals, said that they understand why corporations look through the resumes of the unemployed. The demand for jobs simply outweighs the supply of talent and hiring managers need a way to go through applications quickly. Yet the struggles of enemployment keep increasing due to the ruling out of those candidates who were a casualty of downsizing or bankruptcies.

On addition, the sting of unemployment grows more pronounced as you age. Having a graduation date on your professional profile that places you in your 50s does carry a much greater stigma than that of someone in their early 30s. Job seekers need to recognize that this shame still exists.

Board Games

It is a very popular game that does not need much material and guarantees that you have good time.

Age : 6 years and above
No. of players: 2 or more
Material: Chalk, a metal or plastic bottle cap per player

Instructions:

1. Draw a circuit on the floor with the chalk, with two lines making a track full of curves and narrow stretches. Also draw a starting line and a finishing line.

2. Each player places his or her bottle top on the starting line. The player take turns to flick their bottle tops with their fingers, trying to make it go as far as possible along the track without going off it.

3. If the bottle top is still on the track when it stops, it stays where it is. But if it comes off the circuit, it goes back to the point at which it crossed the line and waits for the next turn.

4. The circuit can be made more complicated with small obstacles that make the race more difficult, for example small stones, sticks, etc. This will make the game more exciting.

5. The first player to cross the finishing line is the winner of the race.

MakeUp

No doubt, make up and cosmetics are an indispensable part of every woman's life. No woman can do away with it at any stage of her life. Be it adolescent girls or elderly woman, they follow one or another kind of beauty regime which involves the use of cosmetics.

However, the basics of makeup start with glowing and radiant skin. Apart from dietary supplements, various kinds of skin care products come into picture if you wish to have flawless and healthy skin. Cleansing, toning and moisturizing is the basic daily regimen that results in radiant skin.

Face contouring is an easy strategy used by makeup artists that makes a big impact--and this video how-to proves that it's just as effective in real life. With just a couple swipes of your blush brush I am going to show you how to contour your face.

As a final step in your makeup routine, apply dark powder (two shades deeper than your natural skin tone) along your hairline and jawline, under your cheekbones (from your ear to the corner of your mouth), and down both sides of your nose. Then, dust on a lighter shade powder down the center of your nose, on tip of your chin, and under your eyes to highlight.

Hemis Festival

The two day Hemis Festival commemorates the birth of Guru Padmasambhava, who founded Tantric Buddhism in Tibet. It's held in June or July every year at the 300-year-old Buddhist monastery of Hemis Jangchub Choling near Leh. This monastery is the biggest and richest Buddhist monastery in the Ladakh region.

The highlight of the Hemis Festival is teh Masked Dance, performed by the hlamas, that illustrates good prevailing over evil. The performers wear elaborate and bizarre costumes and brightly painted masks. These masks are the most vital part of the dance. The dance movements are slow, and the expressions grotesque. The music is characteristically punctuated with sounds of cymbais, frums, and unwiedly trumpets.

Each colourful mask depicts a different figure in the legend that's being portrayed. The Padmasambhava dance, which shows the conquest of the ruta demons, includes Yama - the God of death, and the black-hatted sorcerer, Guru Trakpo - the vanquisher of all demons.

How to Get There : Flights to Leh operate from Delhi, Srinagar and Jammu. Alternatively, it's possible to travel there by road from Manali and Srinagar. The Hemis Monastery is 45 kilometers from Leh and can be reached by car/jeep or bus.

infiniti Q50

The infiniti Q50 has been designed to take on the BMW 3 Series - but infiniti is trying to attract a more youthful set of customers and efficient diesel and hybrid saloons aren't exactly going to gain any favour with the young crowd.

Enter the 2014 infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge concept debuting at this year's North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. This thing has been designed to take on the mighty BMW M3 and could well have the weaponry to succeed. That level of power and torque eclipses the 431hp, 40lb ft 2014 BMW M3, which will sprint from 0 to 62mph (approx 100kmh) in 4.1 seconds.

Makers reckon the BMW will be lighter than a production version of the Eau Rouge through, so even with that mammoth intended power output, don't expect a hot Q50 to destroy the M3 over the same benchmark test.

As part of the transformation from family saloon to performance car, infiniti has given the regular Q50 a pretty heavy makeover, endowing the Eau Rouge concept with a more sporting look.

Infiniti has not yet announced if the Q50 Eau Rouge concept will get the green light of production, but when it does get confirmed, expect to be able to buy one in late 2015 or early 2016, priced from $90,000 (Rs. 56.5 Lakhs).

When the Q50 Eau Rouge concept was revealed in Detroit, Johan de Nysschen hinted that if a production version ever happened it would have around 500 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of toruque, which is a significant hike over the current Q50. Infiniti hasn't announced any details of the engine that is going to debut in Geneva, but it's expected that it will be a turbocharged six-cylinder.
